ROSA3D PLA - Silk

PLA-Silk filament from Rosa3D is a filament with the depth of color and unique silk shine.

In this series you will also find colors that mimic metals such as copper, bronze, steel, silver and gold.

You can print PLA-Silk with the same settings as PLA Starter. There is no need to slow down the print speed. Filament is shiny already on the spool, the gloss does not only appear during print, which gives quite a lot of freedom to choose the temperature. Nevertheless, we always recommend that you print the temperature tower first.

PLA-Silk is characterized by low shrinkage and no unpleasant odor. PLA-Silk print is characterized by high layer adhesion and very good detail reproduction.

The filament is made from a blend of plastics based on the biodegradable PLA biopolymer. Filament is only made from ingredients approved for contact with food. In the case of products that come into contact with food, the manufacturer of the final product is responsible for the certification.

Recommended printing parameters:

Extrusion temperature 185-225 ° C

Bed temperature: 40-60 ° C

Flow: 50-100%

Printing speed: 60-80 mm / s

Filament can be printed on unheated tables. In case of adhesion problems, we recommend the use of an adhesive.
